Latin Stations Up For Sale

Spanish news/talkers KNRV-AM (La Buena Onda)/Denver and KNUV-AM (La Buena Onda)/Phoenix are up for sale, HM Communications president Heberto Limas-Villers told R&R. With the sale, HM Communications is also disappearing, he added.
In addition, the stations will no longer be broadcasting local programming. The last of the local shows will end its run on July 31, and on Aug. 1 the outlets will broadcast syndicated programming provided by Mexican radio company Radio Fórmula until the stations are sold.
KNRV-AM and KNUV-AM are nominated for 2008 Marconi Awards in the Spanish Station of the Year category.
