Lily Allen Admits To Take That 'Rip Off'
July 16, 2008 - Rock and Pop

LILY ALLEN
By Andre Paine, London

Lily Allen has rejected a new track for her sophomore release because of its resemblance to a hit by revived boy band Take That.

However, the U.K. pop vocalist has made "Who'd Of Known" available on her MySpace page. She writes on her blog that the track won't make it on her new album, which is due via Regal/Parlophone later this year.

"I ripped off the chorus from Take That and I can't be bothered with the paperwork," said Allen.

The chorus to "Who'd Of Known" has some resemblance to Take That's 2006 No. 1 "Shine".
