Univision Radio Cuts Staff

Radio & Records has learned that Univision Radio has laid off several people from its Latin stations throughout the country, including promotion staff and PDs.
Among those out of a gig are KROM (Estéreo Latino)/San Antonio PD Rogelio Leal and KLSQ-AM (Radio Variedades)/Las Vegas PD José Santos Sr. The layoffs are said to be due to budget cuts.
On the layoffs, a Univision Radio spokesperson told R&R, "We continuously look for operating efficiencies across all of our divisions as a normal course of business."
