Roy Harper Albums Get U.S. Releases
July 01, 2008 - Indies

By Laura Leebove, N.Y.

Several of folk-rock musician Roy Harper's albums will see their first U.S. release through an exclusive distribution deal with Koch Entertainment Distribution and London-based Cadiz Music. The records-which previously were only available as domestic imports-will be released on Harper's own Science Friction record label.

The first batch of albums was released on June 24 and includes "Stormcock," "Counter Culture," "Jugula" and "Flat Baroque and Berserk." Albums to be released later in 2008 include "The Green Man," "The Dream Society," "The Unknown Soldier" and "Death or Glory."

Throughout his career, Harper has penned several solo albums and has also collaborated with Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin's Jimmy Page.
