Getty Links With Kobalt For Admin Pact

Getty Images has tapped Kobalt Music Group for administration services of its music catalog. Getty's Pump Audio division licenses the music of independent artists for commercial uses in TV, films, games and the Internet, among other areas.
Kobalt will register, track and collect royalties from performance societies for the copyrights licensed through Pump Audio.

Images, which continues to grow its music catalog and music licensing services," said Willard Ahdritz, CEO and founder of Kobalt Music Group. "Kobalt will be registering Getty Images content with societies around the world and offering a multitude of customized services that will be a natural fit to complement expanding music operations."
