Tunetribe Founder Traynor Picks Frukt
July 08, 2008 - Branding | Global

By Lars Brandle, London

Specialist music strategy and communications agency Frukt has hired Tunetribe.com co-founder and COO Ronnie Traynor to head up its business development activities.

Traynor, who becomes the London-based marketing firm's first business development manager, will be tasked with pushing forward Frukt's brand-led music activation services.

She brings with her more than 10 years' experience in commercial and creative roles within the music and entertainment industries.

In 2004, Traynor launched the TuneTribe music download site, where she developed relationships with clients such as Red Stripe, Cambell's Soup, Nokia and Vodaphone. Prior to that, she was a music producer and researcher for a string of TV programs, before working as label and events manager for Distinct'ive Records, INK and Ragbull Recordings

"Frukt is at the cutting edge of the collaboration between brands and music and I'm delighted to be joining such an inspiring team," comments Traynor, who reports to Anthony Ackenhoff, co-founder and managing director of Frukt.

In other Frukt news, editorial and content manager James Poletti has been promoted to associate director of Activation, reporting to director of Activation, Jeremy Paterson.
